There were Cables all over the ocean floor already in 1901. Great map to look at, and a reminder theat the history of electronic communication goes back quite a long way!

Ok, so it’s a small snow sculpture built by yours truly, but it had to be done - seeing as the snowfall was unkind enough to come sunday night for monday morning, I had to go to the terrace outside Guardian Towers and make this there. Perhaps some farsiighted developer would like to take my snowthing literally and build some kind of folly - perhaps out of snow and encased in a glass tower...
