Road sign hacked: "Zombies ahead"
This is the perfect response to the “advanced warning” sign I saw some months ago. Someone has hacked into the boxes for this sign and added their own messages… i just hope the orginal message wasn’t “end of road, 100m” or any other danger.

OK so it’s the 19th of January, but tomorrow there is a Barac(k) in the White-house, so perhaps I could call it a new era resolution. And it’s not a huge one.

I don’t know how much difference it would make in London, busy traffic and lots of lights . . but it might help, and could encourage cyclists to keep single file at night . . perhaps. I guess one could phase the laser too, have flashing lines, dotted lines, dashed . . and? … From Engagdet
Gaza invasion and police brutality
I find it difficult to allow myself to think about what is being done to people in Gaza by the Israeli army. Imagine what the reaction might have been had the British government launched days of airstrikes, followed by street by street fighting - in which hundreds of civilians are injured and killed - in Northern Ireland … Belfast ablaze, hospitals full of wounded and a blockade to stop...
